Join us for a playful cyanotype workshop where you’ll turn paper matchboxes into tiny blue works of art using sunlight and simple photographic techniques. Experiment with found objects, pressed flowers, old negatives, or even your own photo (select the “use your own photo” ticket option) to create one-of-a-kind designs.
We’ll guide you through the full cyanotype process - arranging your materials, exposing them with sunlight or UV light, and rinsing them to reveal those rich signature blues. No experience needed - this workshop is relaxed, creative, and beginner-friendly.
You’ll leave with 4 finished cyanotype matchboxes to take home, along with the skills and confidence to keep experimenting on your own.
Bring along a few small flat objects if you’d like to personalize your designs - we’ll also have lots of materials available to use during class.
